Alley Pulliam (Pullam)

(1819-after 1910)

William J. Floyd was born in about 1817, in Kentucky, the son of Nathaniel J. Floyd and Ann Hewitt.[11]

Alley (or Allie) Pulliam was born about 1818 in Union County, Kentucky, the second of seven children of Thomas Pullam and Priscilla "Prissie"  Skinner.[12]  (See PULLAM and SKINNER).

William appears in the 1840 Union  Co., KY census, p. 9 as follows:   William Floyd, 1 male 20-30.  He was living near his parents but not in the same household.

William and Alley were married 10 December 1844 in Union Co., KY[13] and had the following children:

          i.        Matilda Floyd b. 1845 Union Co., KY

ii.       Minerva Floyd (1847-1926) m. John Ramsey (See RAMSEY)

Minerva and John moved to Kansas in about 1880, but Alley Floyd does not appear with them in the 1880 census, nor in the 1900 census.  She was not found in the census of any other location in those years.
